Read the fine print Tracy!

I am taking part in a card challenge for Riverland Kaszazz Scrapbooking. Each person who participates gets the same items in the kit and have to then come up with a card. We can only use stamps inks or punches (*oops I used an embossing folder)  but are not allowed to add any extra cardstock or embellishments. Unfortunately I jumped in a little to quick...was just so keen to get to use my Bigshot. As I had already taken the photos I have decided to blog about what could be made with the added extras, but still using the same products.
I had already run the card stock though the big shot when I remembered I needed to take photos! So we each start with a standard white A5 cardstock, I folded mine into a C6 size. The Red bazzill cardstock (precut) a black tag, the black ribbon and the large rhinestone.

Running Cardstock through bigshot

I added white cloud Versa Magic to embossed cardstock
Once I had Run the cardstock and tag through the bigshot I rubbed the embossed areas with the Versa Magic. This really made it stand out and gave it a bit of an aged look. All of my sponge daubers have been used for dark colours so I just used a piece of sponge cut down to size.
The finished card, I used a white pen to add stitching to the tag (I cut that down in size too) used the off cut of ribbon on the tag and added the rhinestone.
Products used to make the card;
Bigshot
Sizzix Wedding set#2 (code 655852)
Zig 2 way glue pen
Inkssentials Opaque pen, white
double sided tape.
cardstock, ribbon, tag and rhinestone from card kit.

This card won't be in the Challenge as I used an embossing folded...stay tuned for later tonight for the card which will be included in the challenge.

Time for a change

As some of you would by now be aware I am no longer involved with Art and Craft Supplies. After 3 years together Katie and I have decided to go our own ways. For the time being I will be concentrating my time on the Business I run with my Husband (as I have done for the last 10 years). We have some changes happening that require me to be "at work" more. I will be continuing with my crafting and you can follow what I have been getting up to over on my Facebook page. And as I said at the start of the year I WILL become a better blogger, I WILL post more regular updates, maybe even a blog revamp... you never know, while things are changing maybe I will change the lot. They say change is as good as a holiday, and while I did just return from 2 weeks in QLD (in Feb/March) I could always do with another. Ah who am I kidding? I will just have to get to changing my craft corner around ...again!
Now what would a blog post be without a photo?
Here is one of my recent cards I have made.
Just how I feel some days, not a care in the world.
Well for now that's it, just a brief update.
Happy crafting, Tracy
