The workshop is the 2H907 "buttonfly cards", in the kit I had all items I needed to make the cards other than inks, stamps and adhesives.
Over a cuppa I had a quick read through the project sheet and then set about getting the bits a bobs together I needed to complete the cards. I will list what I used at the end of the post.
Card1; In the workshop the stamp used was dragonflies, however not this one. This one I used is a Kaszazz one, but from a few years ago. I used a flourish stamp in place of the leaves too. The stamp used was a two step stamp so I then needed to work out a way to "fill" the colour...so I used chalks! As the base (white) card is a gloss I needed to wait until the inks were dry before I started the filling in. The "sweet friend" is a Stampin up stamp.
Card 2; This card used the smaller version of the large stamp...and my most Favorite stamp "you make me smile"
Card 3; A lovely Bright "thank you" card...it was about when I was putting this card together I read the "ink all edges" Oops ...so this one has the edges inked! the other 2 don't!
Card 4; I made the white square on this one a little smaller as I wanted the bright pink to show. The "hello, you" stamp is from the same stampin up set as the card 1 stamp.
All 4 cards together :) to see what the cards would look like if you made them at a workshop look here on page 62.
While I was disappointed I couldn't stay at the workshop I had fun coming up with alternative items to use to make similar cards.
While I will not list the step by step how I made these cards, I think that is unfair to those who came up with the workshop I have listed changes I made to the cards and items I used.
Items used on the cards, where possible I will give item codes...If I have them.
